Once you have understood your results, you should share them with staff. You may also want to present them to governors and other stakeholders.
Use the Presentation tab in your menu to access a presentation of your results. You can use this to share information as appropriate.
Sharing the results with staff is an important step as they have provided the feedback and should be part of solutions too. If you present summary findings and are seen to take action, this will improve engagement in the short-term and make it much more likely that staff will participate, both in their role and in future surveys, over the long-term.
The presentation can be shared directly from your dashboard or can be downloaded as a PowerPoint. Downloading it will allow you to adapt and share the information you want, which is important, as you may need to tailor it to the time you have available and share only highlights.
In addition to top level scores, the presentation also shares up to three strengths and development opportunities from each of the management standards, where these are available.
It is recommended that you start by celebrating those things that are and have gone well before moving onto areas that may need attention.
On occasions results can appear to contradict with a strength and development area showing for the same item. If this happens it will be because one is compared to other schools and the other to all cross sector organisations. This is because it is possible to score highly against other schools and have a low comparative score against all organisations and vice-versa.
As you take action and with staff involvement, you will want to communicate regularly on progress through various channels, including a face to face update. When doing this it is always useful to remind staff of the journey you have come on and share things that have already been implemented.
Everyone is busy and it is very easy for staff to demand more and forget things that have already changed for the better. Tying in new plans with progress already made is an important step.
