Overview:
Taking some time to plan and prepare your survey will ensure it's set up effectively and gets a good response rate from your staff. Here's what you'll need to consider:
Before you start:
Develop an action plan: Plan how you'll use the survey results to improve staff wellbeing. This will make the survey more meaningful for everyone involved. There are some helpful suggestions in the 'action plan' section in your dashboard - take a look!
Be informed:
The survey we use is the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Indicator Tool and this contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. It relates to the six primary stressors identified in the Management Standards approach to tackling Work Related Stress. The questions are based on the best available evidence linking work design to health outcomes. Go to the Welbee Toolkit, Foundation section for a digestible summary of the Management Standards. Click this link 'What are management standards?'. The survey questions are available to download at the bottom of this page either in the order that they are asked or in the sections they are in.
